Kim Jamieson

Principal

 

Kim, a Proserpine local, joined the team at Accountancy Plus in May 2008. Since then, Kim has completed a business degree majoring in accounting, has married and now has two beautiful daughters who keep her extremely busy. Kim is a Senior Manager and Partner of the firm, who mentors our undergraduates. Kim specialises in business advisory and management, cash flow projections, tax planning, and benchmarking.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her family.

Steve Diez

Consultant

 

Steve, a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA) with over 40 years’ experience, was the founder of APW, with the origins dating back to 1985. He graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor Of Economics and moved to the Whitsundays with his wife Bennie, where both their children were born and raised. They now reside in Victoria where Steve acts as a consultant, providing expertise in the business, taxation and financial arena with specialist property knowledge and sagacity. He is a passionate die-hard motorbike enthusiast and, together with Bennie, enjoy time spent travelling through the Australian country-side on his bike.

Barbara Jarvis

 

Barbara joined our team as Practice Manager in August 2019 following 14 years in the UK working for a shipping company. Barbara, originally from New Zealand, has extensive experience in human resources including staff management with a background in banking, the tourism sector, the oil and gas industry and shipping. Barbara and her husband moved to the Whitsundays to be closer to family. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, exploring Australia, and spending time with family.

Karen Miller

 

As a CPA accountant of the firm, Karen completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Griffith University in 1990. Originally from the Gold Coast, Karen and her husband Scott decided on a lifestyle change and moved to the beautiful Whitsunday area in mid 2012. Karen has worked in public practice for many years where she handles all aspects of small to medium businesses and other complex structures such as the building and construction areas, transport, retail, hospitality and many more.

Jackie Bluck

 

Jackie graduated from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) in 1991 and then completed her CPA soon afterwards. Jackie has worked as an Accountant and Commercial Manager in many industries including Public practice, the Mining Industry, Commercial & Retail, as well as Local Council.

 

Jackie is a local from Mackay and moved to Cannonvale in 2012. Jackie’s professional passion lies in helping small businesses become successful. She has a love for fishing, boating, holidaying and having fun.

Chloe McLean

 

Chloe, a Proserpine local, joined our team in January 2019, after spending some time at APW for work experience in high school. Chloe has since completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting, through the University of Southern Queensland, and looks forward to commencing studies to become a CPA.

 

Chloe enjoys all aspects of assisting businesses with their compliance needs and is highly proficient in Xero. She loves to spend her free time at the beach with her dog Lottie.

Jordan Moretto

 

Jordan began working for APW in November 2014 as Office Manager quickly cementing her position within the company and providing a calm presence to our busy office.

Following a period of maternity leave, Jordan returned as our Corporate Secretarial Liaison, responsible for maintaining and supporting our growing corporate side of the Practice, ably assisting our Director and Accountants, and providing support to our Practice Manager and the administration team. Working remotely, Jordan is adept at Xero and performs several administration roles within APW.

In her spare time, Jordan loves spending time with her family and friends, and exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Ali Kronk

 

Ali, originally from Cannonvale joined us in January 2020, previously having worked for a number of local businesses in the region including banks and law firms. Ali is a fully qualified Bookkeeper and a registered BAS agent. She is also a Commissioner for Declarations . Ali is responsible for our client’s bookkeeping needs, as well as liaising with the ATO, preparing and lodging BAS and assisting our Accountants with queries, to list just a few of the roles she performs. In her spare time, Ali loves working with her horses, and spending time with her husband and daughter on their rural property.

Molly McNeill

 

Molly was born and educated in Proserpine before leaving school to join Westpac where she worked for many years. She has also worked in administrative positions before joining APW as receptionist. Molly is married to Tony, a local electrician and has two grown up children, and has now become a grandmother. Molly enjoys gym work, fishing, reading a good book and spending time with her family.

Angela Greenhill

 

Angela joined APW in 2021 following a variety of roles working for Whitsunday businesses, from tourism industry providers to mortgage specialists. Originally from Jersey, Angela has extensive experience in the corporate compliance sector, ensuring regulatory and legal obligations are met by our clients. She brings a breadth of knowledge that is invaluable to APW, and ensures we are able to offer a complete corporate service ensuring that all Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) regulations and responsibilities are met. In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, walking her dogs, and helping support local families of children with ASD and ADHD.
